The practice facilities at Shoal Creek consist of a Teaching Center and a Practice Center.
The teaching center includes a 5,000 square ft zoysia tee station, a large bentgrass green, an approach area for short game work, and a large bunker for sand play lessons. The practice center is conveniently located adjacent to the clubhouse.
The practice center consists of a two-tiered, 12,000 square ft. zoysia teeing area in addition to 34 artificial turf mats that are used in cases of inclimate weather.
Adjacent to the practice tee is the practice putting green that features six target holes and 6,000 square ft of putting and chipping surface.
